Coming soon: New food, drink and more

As seen this past month on Facebook, things are happening in Woodstock: New places to eat and drink will open soon or soonish, and several marijuana-related businesses appear to be in the works. For details, click the yellow icons on this handy map — or just read the paragraphs below it.

But before you do: Remember that you have a voice in “what’s next” in Woodstock: Make time to attend the Land Use Committee meetings, third Wednesday each month.

Double Mountain Brewery and Taproom

Where: 4336 SE Woodstock Blvd. (by the liquor store)
What: Craft beer and pizza, live music
When: “Shooting for the first week of August,” says Double Mountain’s Facebook page.

Ate-Oh-Ate Hawaiian Restaurant

Where: 6030 SE 52nd (at Woodstock, southeast corner, former location of Mike’s Auto Parts)
What: Hawaiian food
When: Opening date unclear, delayed from spring as reported on OregonLive.

NVS Glassworks

Where: 6030 SE 52nd (at Woodstock, southeast corner, former location of Mike’s Auto Parts)
What: Retailer of glass apparatus for those who smoke.
When: Opening date unclear on the firm’s Facebook page.

Heart Coffee Roasters

Where: 5965 SE 52nd Ave. (Northwest corner of Woodstock & 52nd)
What: Craft coffee
When: The new building is projected for early 2017. Its two other spaces are not yet spoken for, according to the realtor’s page.

Lenox Addition Apartments

Where: 5151 SE Holgate Blvd. (52nd and Holgate, northwest corner, former location of the “no graffiti” building)
What: 64 apartments; coffee shop and restaurant expected at street level.
When: Projected for summer 2017, according to Portland Business Journal.

No tenant recorded, but…

Where: Three locations. 4452 SE 52nd (at Holgate, northeast corner); 5230 SE 52nd (next to Toast); and 4513-4517 SE 41st Ave. (41st at Holgate, former location of The Hutch restaurant and lounge)
What: Each location is vacant and has no current tenant recorded, but each has a permit application with the city related to marijuana sales and/or consumption.
