This year our beloved Community Center is celebrating 60 years as a Community Center! Built in 1928 it was a firehouse until Portland Parks and Recreation turned it into a Community Center in 1958.
The Friends of the Woodstock Community Center are throwing a family friendly Birthday party on September 9, 2018 at 2pm immediately following the Woodstock Farmer’s Market. Join us for some live music, class demonstrations and some tasty treats. The party will be on 43rd avenue between Woodstock Blvd and Knight St.
Portland Parks offers Preschool classes during the weekdays from September – May, 2 or 3 days per week. You can find out more about the preschool classes through Portland Parks here. Classes start on September 5th for the 2018/2019 school year.
There is also a variety of different recreational activities offered through Portland Parks and Recreation. Everything from fitness classes, to personal enrichment. Lots of activities for all age groups from the young to the young at heart. Check out the schedule posted by Portland Parks.
