Woodstock Neighborhood Association needs you!
WNA will be electing a new board in May of 2020. It’s not too soon to consider serving.
The WNA board currently has several open seats. Acting as an Area Representative is a simple way to begin serving on the WNA board. A new board will be elected at the General Meeting on May 6, 2020. Board positions include: Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Area Representative (5), and various Committee Chairs. All you need is enthusiasm and a few free evenings a month.
Anyone who works or lives within Woodstock Neighborhood is already a member. The purpose of the association is to improve the livability of the City of Portland and of the Woodstock neighborhood; to promote and support projects and activities that contribute to these goals; and to provide a means for citizen participation and communication in determination of affairs which directly and indirectly affect the Woodstock neighborhood.
For organizing and representation purposes, the neighborhood is subdivided into five geographic sections as illustrated in this simplified map. The Board has positions for an Area Representative from each geographic area.
