Woodstock Neighborhood Association is considering converting to our own 501(c)(3) non-profit Organization. Currently, we have a fiscal sponsorship through South East UpLift (SEUL) which is coordinated through Portland’s Office of Civic and Community Life (formally Office of Neighborhood Involvement, ONI).
With the conversion to an independent 501(c)(3), WNA would be able to apply for grants that are available independent from SEUL. In order to resolve board and community questions WNA will be holding a bi-weekly meeting to discuss and resolve questions that have come up concerning this conversion.
If you have any experience or are interested in helping your neighborhood organization with this we welcome your input! Please join us every other Monday starting October 8th at 7pm at the Woodstock Community Center. Agendas will be posted to the website along with meeting minutes.
If you have any questions about this conversion, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will answer them as best we can.
Updated information including meeting minutes will be posted here
Please join us if you can, it is a great way to get involved in your neighborhood!
